About Bridgeway
| Bridgeway’s story is one of rebirth, of God birthing something new from death. In August 1999, the First Christian Reformed Church held its final worship service and closed its doors after 143 years of ministry. Attendance had been declining for several years and the congregation realized that they were not connecting with the surrounding community. Yet God was faithful. More than 50 people from the old First Church stayed to help rebirth the church. Read More... Today, Bridgeway stands in its place as a church that is reaching out and “bridging the gap” in our community – generational, socioeconomic, cultural, and most of all spiritual gaps. We are filled with joy as we see God moving us closer to our vision of being a healthy growing church in our community. Lives are being changed and transformed by the good news of Jesus Christ, and we look forward to seeing God’s grace in action for the months and years to come. |
